About the Artist

Alex Cabal is an illustrator based in Los Angeles. Her art primarily focuses on her reconnection to her Filipino heritage, and she creates digital art using Photoshop and/or Procreate, traditional pen and ink drawings, and acrylic/gouache paintings as a vehicle to explore the mythology, folklore, and indigenous spiritual practices of the Philippines.

You may find her reading at the library, drawing at a small coffee shop, browsing at a quiet antique store, or treasure hunting at the latest estate sale in the wild.
